What services will be offered at the low cost clinic?
We offer preventive care services: vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal testing, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention. We do not do consults for injuries/illnesses/ailments/etc at this clinic. A very limited exam will be performed by a veterinarian to ensure your pet is healthy enough for services
What pets are eligible to receive services at this clinic?
Overall healthy pets (cats and dogs only). Pets with a history of vaccination reactions, actively having vomiting or diarrhea, or deemed not healthy enough to receive services will NOT be able to receive services.
**cats MUST be in carriers and dogs MUST be on a leash
There is no income requirements or verification. As long as your pet is deemed healthy enough, we will see your pet.
Can my pet get heartworm prevention without a current HW test?
Your pet must have a negative heartworm test within the last year (you must show proof) or receive a (negative) heartworm test at the clinic
Do you work with pharmacies for ordering of hw/flea prevention?
No, we do not call in prescriptions or work with any outside pharmacies. If we don't have your pet's size in stock, you will be given a link to order for home delivery
Do you do nail trims?
No we do not do nail trims at the low cost clinic
Do you take appointments?
This is a walk-in clinic, first come/first served and we will not be scheduling appointments. You may fill out consent forms ahead of time to help speed up the process.
What prevention do you carry in stock?
We carry a limited stock of Vetrishied Plus and Bravecto 1-month tablets
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or card. We do not accept care credit or check.
Do you offer 1 year or 3 year rabies vaccines?
We carry 3-year rabies vaccines, but if the pet is several months overdue, you do not have records, or it is the pet's first rabies vaccine, it will only be good for 1 year
How will I know what my pet needs?
Please bring any previous vaccine records for us to review to help you decide what your pet should receive
Do you see aggressive pets at the clinic?
If your pet does not allow us to handle them, we will refund you and ask you to go to a full service clinic instead
Can I purchase flea or heartworm prevention without bringing my pet in if they have a recent heartworm test?
You must bring your pet in to be seen and weighed in order to purchase prevention (and bring in proof of a heartworm test within the last year, otherwise your pet will need to have a heartworm test done in clinic)
